When was the first moment you decided you wanted to be an artist?

I think I've always wanted to be an artist. Growing up, my mom and her cousin were terrific artists and Iearned a ton from both of them.

Where do you find your inspiration?

My inspiration comes from the world around me, the things that I am passionate about, and random things that just pop into my mind at times.

If you could work with another artist, who would it be? / who is your favorite artist?

Wow. Any other artist? Living would have to be my cousin Tybo(e) because we haven't done anything together since we were little kids. Deceased would have to be Picasso. I think we would vibe well. Favorite would be the family artists and then Escher. Unfortunately, I don't have the mathematical mind to gig like he did.

What has been the best moment in your career?

The best moments for me come when the youngsters dig my work and offer to do whatever it takes to get their hands on a piece. I usually give 'em a steal of a deal because they are passionate about wanting the piece.

 What is your ideal day?

No pain. Good mood. The energy to put in work. Quality  production. That would all happen in my ideal day but, since  I am disabled, it doesn't quite come together like that.

 Who is your role model?

My mother for her dedication to her craft. Her cousin for his  perfection in his craft. My cousin for his lack of fear in getting  his work on a wall. My sister for her gumption in getting her work seen. Most of all, my wife for showing me how to love.

If you could do anything, what would it be?

Completely cover every abandoned building I could get to in murals.

That would certainly make our world brighter!

Why do you create art?

It's just what I do. Always have and always will. Think it is in my genes.

What art do you most identify with?

Both Abstract and Street art. Put the two together and minds explode.

A combo that makes some dope art!

How has your art changed throughout your life?

I've really honed my skills and developed my own style. I've also gone from trying to satisfy the people around me to simply creating what comes to me. Sometimes the people are still satisfied, sometimes they are not.

What is your dream project?

Besides the mural occupation of abandoned buildings, I would absolutely LOVE to start an art community where artists have their own gallery and studio while being sponsored enough to have all of their basic necessities covered.

What is the best piece of advice you have received?

Keep your nose to the grindstone. Thanks for that one Ma!
