Carmen's Blog, Take 3!

Posted,

Editor's Note: I'm not really an editor Editor's Note 2: Here's our intern Carmen Zeng's 3rd blog :) As the saying goes, “Change is the only constant in life.” Similar to how it’s important for us to step out of our comfort zones once in a while and try something new, finding ways to innovate is vital for businesses in today’s fast-paced environment. All of the tasks I completed this week revolved around the idea of embracing change. Through analyzing data from a survey, I learned that there’s a difference between knowing who your customer is and understanding your customer. It's significant to accomplish both because it provides us with a valuable picture on how to make improvements, implement new strategies, and create and deliver precise solutions to meet our customers’ needs. Notice how there are only happy faces on the boxes in the photograph below, that’s exactly how we want our customers to feel. carmen1 There are no two days that are identical in a start-up; it’s the nature of the job. It’s critical to continuously search for new ways to solve problems and produce exceptional outcomes. Instead of adhering to our established routine for packaging orders this week, Andrew Nguyen developed a new method for order fulfillment and we experimented with his latest hypothesis. The results showed that it was a more effective and efficient process to fulfill orders. carmen2 As of this week, dropping off packages at the post office has been included into my list of responsibilities. Here is Andrew preparing to head to the post office, don’t worry I helped him carry half of those boxes. carmen3
