Don't Be Late For Your Tee Time

Posted,

If you done any golfing before, then you'll already be familiar with the term. Many golfers incorrectly assume that the tee time is when you need to be at the course. The 'tee time' is the specified time that you and your group need to be hitting the first shot off the tee. You can use any of our watches to make sure that you're on the hole ready to hit the first ball on time. If you're at a busy course, then know that other groups are scheduled behind you. There's nothing worse than a group that is riding your tail. That's why keeping your tee time is so important. While I'm at it, I'd like to pass along a few nuggets of time wisdom. A wise man once told me the following:
  • a. 15 minutes early is on time
  • b. On time is late
  • c. 5-10 minutes late is completely unacceptable
I don't know about you, but I begin to lose respect for someone that is persistently late. If you're looking to improve your reputation, then develop an attitude of getting ready a little bit earlier and planning ahead for unforeseen circumstances. Weather and traffic are the two biggest things that make people late to events. Carrying a watch and keeping it up to date with the time and making sure your clocks around the house are set right will work wonders for you. These are just some of the things I do to make sure I'm on time. Surely you have a reputation to maintain. What tricks do you have for making sure that you're on time to your daily events and activities?

Once I was late to a dinner and I just knew not to never do that again. They’ll love you for your effort to be on time. […]
